These experimental pieces will help decide pattern and colour layout for my large final canvas piece, in these pieces i have added some of Sonia Delauny's techniques and also some Twombly techniques. I like all these pieces as i have expressed my inner feelings towards the direction i intend to take with the final composition with the use of bright colours.

| This composition is a calmer composition with Sonia delauny being the inspiration. With the geometric shapes in this piece it has added movement and a flow from form to form. |

| I have added a bit of Twombly into this piece as i find his techniques interesting and effective. |

| This composition is one of my favourite as it is calm and i have taken time with the mixing of colours and the placement of shapes and pattern. |

| This composition was a mixed pattern piece it was inspired by two artist CY Twombly and Sonia Delauny i did this composition to experiment with patterns to see what patterns would work in future compositions. |
